Major General Viqar Ahmed Khan, HI (M) (Retired)
Chairperson – Smile Foundation & Kashmir Cardiac Centre

It is both an honor and a responsibility to serve as the Chairperson of Smile Foundation and Kashmir Cardiac Centre. Having spent a lifetime in service to the nation through the Pakistan Army, I firmly believe that true service continues beyond uniform—through initiatives that uplift humanity, strengthen communities, and save lives.
The establishment of the Kashmir Cardiac Centre is a visionary step toward addressing one of the most critical healthcare challenges faced by our people: access to timely and quality cardiac care. Heart disease does not wait, and no individual should suffer due to distance, lack of facilities, or limited resources. This project is designed to bring modern, reliable, and compassionate cardiac services closer to the people who need them most.
Alongside this, the Smile Foundation is committed to broader humanitarian goals, including healthcare support, social welfare, and community development. Together, these institutions represent a unified mission—to serve with integrity, professionalism, and compassion, and to make a lasting positive impact on society.
Tehsil Baloch and the surrounding regions possess resilient and dignified communities who deserve facilities that match their needs and aspirations. The encouragement and support shown by government representatives, medical professionals, community leaders, and well-wishers have strengthened our resolve to move forward with dedication and transparency.
I extend my sincere gratitude to all stakeholders, donors, volunteers, and supporters who believe in this cause. With collective effort, disciplined planning, and unwavering commitment, we are confident that these initiatives will stand as symbols of hope, care, and service for generations to come.
Let us work together to build a healthier, stronger, and more compassionate future.
