I am honored to serve as the President of Smile Foundation, an organization rooted in the belief that serving humanity is the highest form of service.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving Pakistan in key positions within the Pakistan Army and other military and civilian departments. These experiences strengthened my sense of discipline, responsibility, and commitment to the welfare of our people. Despite serving across the country, my heart has always remained connected to my hometown and its people.
One of the most painful realities we face in the Poonch Division is the complete absence of a dedicated cardiac care facility. Due to this lack, a large number of patients are forced to travel to Rawalpindi for treatment. Tragically, many lives are lost on the way or after reaching overcrowded hospitals, simply because timely cardiac care was not available closer to home. We have lost countless loved ones due to this shortage of essential facilities.
This heartbreaking situation inspired us to dream of and initiate the Kashmir Cardiac Centre Baloch—a project that aims to bring life-saving cardiac care to the people of Poonch, Sudhnoti, and Kotli. Our vision is to establish a state-of-the-art cardiac center that serves all segments of society, especially the underprivileged, with dignity and compassion.
